Account Deletion Instructions

Pocket Cinema allows users to permanently delete their account in accordance with applicable law and App Store requirements.
This page explains how to request deletion of your Pocket Cinema account, what happens when your account is deleted, and what information may be retained.
How to Delete Your Account
You may request deletion of your Pocket Cinema account at any time by:
Logging into your Pocket Cinema account and navigating to Settings > Account > Delete Account within the Pocket Cinema app

Submitting a request through any account deletion form or privacy request tool made available by Pocket Cinema
Deleting the Pocket Cinema app from your device does not automatically delete your account.
Deleting your account is permanent and may not be reversible.
What Happens When You Delete Your Account
If you delete your Pocket Cinema account:
Your account profile may be permanently removed
Your login credentials may be disabled
Your subscription access may end
Your Coins, rewards, unlocks, referral balances, bonuses, and promotional credits may be forfeited
Your watchlists, favorites, Continue Watching history, downloads, saved content, and viewing history may be deleted
Your comments, reviews, ratings, or community activity may be removed or anonymized
Your access to Premium community features may end
Your referrals, bonuses, and participation in promotions may be terminated
Pocket Cinema may not be able to restore deleted accounts or deleted information once the deletion process has been completed.
Certain comments, reviews, ratings, or other public-facing community activity may remain visible in anonymized form after account deletion.
Subscription Cancellation
Deleting your Pocket Cinema account does not automatically cancel active subscriptions billed through Apple, Google, or third-party payment providers.
If you subscribed through Apple App Store, you must cancel your subscription through your Apple account settings.
If you subscribed through Google Play, you must cancel your subscription through your Google account settings.
If you subscribed directly through Pocket Cinema or another payment provider, you may need to cancel recurring billing separately.
Information We May Retain
Some legal retention obligations may require Pocket Cinema to retain limited information even after deletion is requested. Pocket Cinema may retain certain information after account deletion where reasonably necessary for:
Legal compliance
Fraud prevention
Security purposes
Tax and accounting obligations
Chargeback prevention
Dispute resolution
Enforcement of agreements
Internal recordkeeping
Investigations
Examples of information that may be retained include:
Transaction records
Purchase history
Refund history
Support communications
Device information
Fraud and security logs
Legal notices
Records related to disputes or abuse
Where possible, retained information may be deleted, anonymized, or de-identified after it is no longer needed.
Identity Verification
To protect users and prevent unauthorized account deletion requests, Pocket Cinema may request additional information to verify your identity before processing an account deletion request.
Verification information may include:
Account email address
Recent purchase history
Device information
Account activity
Billing information
Pocket Cinema may deny or delay requests where it cannot reasonably verify the identity of the requesting user.
Processing Times
Pocket Cinema generally processes verified account deletion requests within a reasonable period of time and in accordance with applicable law.
Where technically feasible, users may be able to cancel an account deletion request before processing has been completed.
Pocket Cinema may send a confirmation email or notification once the deletion request has been completed.
Certain information may remain in backups, logs, or archived systems for a limited period before permanent deletion.
Minors and Parent Requests
Parents or legal guardians may request deletion of information associated with a minor's account where permitted by law.
Pocket Cinema may request additional information to verify the identity and authority of the parent or guardian.
Changes to This Page
Pocket Cinema may update these Account Deletion Instructions from time to time.
If we make material changes, we may notify users through the Services, by email, or through other communications.
Your continued use of the Services after the updated instructions become effective means that you accept the revised instructions.
